The client is an international financial services corporation with operations in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, Hong Kong and Beijing. They pride themselves as being the pioneer in RMB remittance service and on their professional and disciplined approach to financial markets, as is evidenced by the granting of licenses by regulators in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and China.

The client has a unique combination of international strength and local flexibility that has allowed them to expand rapidly around the world and has placed them at the forefront of global financial services. They provide a diversified range of financial services to their customers, including foreign exchange, securities, margin, as well as funds management.

In order to keep pace with fast expansion of the company, their Auckland office is looking for ambitious and motivated candidates to join their Chinese sales team and help to expand their business and contribute to the total revenue of the company.

In this role, you will:

• Expand foreign exchange or investment business opportunities through different channels;

• Maintain ongoing client relationships and develop an affluent client base for the company’s financial products; ensure assigned sales targets are achieved;

• Conduct regular coaching, training and market/product briefings to sales staff to enhance their knowledge and selling skills;

• Ensure customer services and sales teams exercise due diligence and care in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements;

• Support projects in promoting company’s financial products through different business development programs and platforms.

Requirements:

• Genuinely interested in a business development career;
• At least 5 years experience in sales;
• Experienced in visionary thinking and leadership;
• Excellent work ethic;
• Good communication and negotiation skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Bachelor's degree or above, MBA preferred;
• Mainland PRC experience will be an advantage.
