A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our client's fast-growing company in the dairy sector.
It is an important role responsible for partnering closely with the line managers to provide generalist HR support across their business to achieve their growth plans.
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out HR functions for the NZ business
- Developing / updating and implementing HR policies, systems and procedures, complying with local regulations and HR practice, in line with the company's HR strategies
- End-to-end recruitment and orientation for new staff.
- Being an efficient and effective HR advisor to business managers
- Managing employment relations issues and employee grievances
- Reporting and budgeting
- Learning and development
- Health and Safety consultation
Ideal candidates should have:
- A Bachelors' degree or above in Human Resources Management or a Management-related subject
- A minimum of 3 years' HR experience, including at least 1 years' experience in New Zealand
- Previous experience working in manufacturing is a plus
- Good understanding of NZ employment / ER legislation and HR practice
- Professional communication, interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Excellent written and spoken English. Chinese-speaking will be an advantage, but not a must
