An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources processional to join the client’s fast-growing business in the dairy sector.
This is an important role responsible for partnering closely with the client’s business managers to develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures to support business growth, as well as oversee the daily functions of HR, and Health and Safety issues.
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operation of HR within the NZ business
- Developing /updating and implementing HR policies, systems and procedures, complying with local regulations and HR practice, in line with the company’s development strategies
- End-to-end recruitment and new staff orientation
- Being the HR partner to departmental and senior managers
- Managing employment relations issues and employee grievances
- Reporting and budgeting
- Learning and development
- Work Health and Safety consultation
Ideal candidates should have:
- Bachelors’ degree or above in Human Resources Management or in a Management-related subject
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, at least 3 years at a managerial level
- Previous experience in a manufacturing company is a must
- Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment is preferred
- Good understanding of NZ employment / ER legislation, framework and HR practice
- Professional communication, interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities
