An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources processional to join the client’s passionate and energetic team based at their beautifully located Auckland CBD branch.
This is an important role responsible for partnering closely with the client’s business managers to provide generalist HR support across the business to achieve its growth plans, as well as assisting the Board of Directors and/or local management team on overall office administration management.
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operation of HR & Admin functions within the NZ business.
- Developing / updating and implementing HR policies, systems and procedures, comply with local regulations and HR practice, in line with the client’s group HR policies and strategies.
- End-to-end recruitment and orientation for new staff.
- Providing HR generalist support to department and senior managers.
- Managing employment relations issues and employee grievances.
- Reporting and budgeting
- Learning and development
Ideal candidates should have:
- Good command of English & Mandarin
- Bachelors’ degree or above in Human Resources Management or Management related subject
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, at least 2 years at a managerial level
- Previous experience working in a financial institution or banking is a plus
- Good understanding of NZ employment / ER legislation, framework and HR practice
- Professional communication, interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Eligible to work in New Zealand with a valid working Visa.
