Our client is leading privately-owned manufacturing company specialising in dairy products. The company has a large focus on innovation, quality and sustainability and pride themselves in their ability to consistently produce high quality early childhood formulas in a sustainable manner. Due to continued success they are urgently looking for 5 additional production operators in the dispensing, blending and CFR units to join a dynamic team based in East Tamaki.

To be successful in these roles you need to have strong mechanical aptitude, ability to problem solve, work autonomously and as part of a team, an understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace and be able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.

These positions operate with the following shifts from Monday to Thursday:

Day Shift – 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

There is no night shift now.  You have to be flexible to work on Friday if required.

Hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $19.00.

Requirements:

• Prior food or dairy manufacturing experience is preferred
• A background in infant formulas will be a huge advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Basic literacy & numeracy skills
• Flexibility with overtime and weekends, and to work shifts if required
• Initiative, reliable and hardworking team player
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand (PR is preferable; valid work visa should be valid for at least three months)
• Minimum of high school education
• Sound written and spoken English
